There's a 3rd way to detect tempo. Change the tempo mode to "adapt" in the control bar, then drag your audio into the project.

I'm doing DAW-less, (because DAWs are too easy) so I don't have those groovy plugins to make my drums sound perfectly Lofi with just a click of a button, you know? So I gotta use other tricks, which I don't really have. So I'm exploring other old-school Lofi ideas.
